We do not collect health information
The eligibility quiz calculates in your browser; your height, weight, BMI and answers are never sent to us or stored. Forms ask you not to include health information and do not have fields for it.
What we process
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider for security (IP address, browser, page, time).
- Visitor badges and reports: the page, your choice and a one-way hash of your IP address and browser with a salt that changes every year — we do not store the IP itself. Used to allow one vote per person and to limit abuse.
- Corrections and messages: what you write, and your email only if you give it (needed for removal requests).
- On your device: saved clinics and your cookie choice in local storage; your location only if you press «Use my location», used in your browser and never sent.
- Google Analytics 4 (G-Q16W8CW4YR), in consent mode: until you press «Accept» it sends cookieless pings without identifiers and sets no
_gacookie; after you accept it sets the_gacookies to measure visits. Events we send: searches, clicks to call or visit a clinic's website, saves, the eligibility quiz start and completion with the suggested service type — never your answers. - Microsoft Clarity, loaded only after you accept: heatmaps and session recordings of how pages are used. The eligibility quiz is masked and not recorded.
- Google AdSense: shows ads labeled «Advertisement». Until you accept, ads are requested as non-personalized; Google may still use cookies for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement. See how Google uses data from partner sites.
Retention
Rate-limit records: 1 hour. Rejected reports and messages: deleted after 2 years at most. Votes: while the listing exists.
Legal basis and your rights
We are established in the EU, so the GDPR applies: legitimate interest for security and moderation, consent for analytics, session recording and personalized ads. You can ask for access, correction, deletion or objection at info@weightmapgo.com and complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es). Residents of US states with privacy laws (for example California or Washington) can exercise the same rights by email. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising beyond the Google ads described above, which you can refuse.
