The eligibility quiz says so in a notice above the tool: it is an unofficial, educational tool that restates published criteria with their sources, and it does not diagnose or recommend treatments. The guide to types of weight loss surgery carries the same notice and is not offered to search engines until a reviewer signs it off.
When a reviewer joins we will show their name, credential, license state and the review date on each page they review. Reviewers will not be paid by any clinic or manufacturer.
